Neeed help setting up my pansat with a 3LNB DTV dish. I have tried everything I could and had no luck. I can't find the signal for the 91 and 110 birds. I got the elevations and az. for both but no luck. HELP.
You really can't use this type of lnb without modification. You would need to cover one of the lnbs..... Then try for 91 and 110....91 doesn't have much to offer these days...I would stick with 110 and 119. You will have trouble getting the pansat to see through the buit in switch...I would suggest you try for a new dish setup. Just my opinion..... maybe someone can help you with the modifications. Good luck.

Thanks ric for your responce, When I hook up my DTV rec. and set up the cordinates I can get all 3 sats. if DTV and Dish use 119 and 110 wouldnt I bee able to get signal from Dish at least from one sat. maybe I should dig out my old one LNB dish and set it up for one sat.

OK I have my old 18" dish with 119 and my 3LNB with the 110, and it is true about having problems with the build in switch but I don't have signal in the 110. but there was signal last night.

i also have a question about a dtv dish setup. i have an 18" dish w/ dtv dual lnbs (two lnb outputs) hooked into coolsat pro. i'm getting signal around 80 for both 110 and 119 birds, but when i view channels, it only shows channels from 119 bird. is this b/c of built-in multiswitch and do i need to use dnet lnbs. can i modify this somehow? or change switch settings on menu???? running version 1.23 and dish channel guide. pls help. ben

One thing..if you are using an 18" dish modified for two lnbs, what will happen is what you now have. You will probably be able to get a signal but only one at a time. The dish is not big enough. You would need a dish500 dish minimun [20"] to see both sats....try that. Or use a single lnb and view 1 sat at a time., moving your dish to change sats.

thanks for reply ric. Ok......so i need to get larger dish ie dish500 and do i need to change the lnb to dishpro dual lnb w/ y yoke adapter and everything b/c it's just easier to buy those items together. also i've read your earlier post about modifing dtv triple lnb for dnet, now i have one of those later models with the 3 lnbs integrated together w/switch, can these be modified as well with dp21 switch?? i'm not sure, i haven't gone up the roof to check to see if triple lnb can be opened and modified. TIA Ben
