getting 'no signal' message

i m in toronto and i have a fortec star receiver(life time ultra) and i am gettinga message 'no signal'. how do i fix it and can any body tell me wot is new active key code so that atleast i get other channels . thanks

usually if the unit says no signal...thats what it means...Check your connections! See if a bird flew into you dish...Check everything in your hardware installation.

Do you have your signal now? You should try for your signal first...Then do key change
