Found this floating around....For ADVANCED TESTERS ONLY......
Heres how to test the N2 stream safely on a rom 10 card. First clean a rom 10 card and read it. Then hit patch editor, select the patch below, and hit open. Then goto (almost) the bottom of patch and change the info to reflect your IRD# TWICE, once forwards, and the next line type IRD# backwards. Then hit test patch, then run patch. If no errors reported, then write to card. Then plug into the stream and report results. The unlocker file unlocks the card IF THE PATCH IS PROPERLY APPLIED! If the patch is not properly applied then you could lose your rom10 forever.

I get a totally open channel guide, and audio and video on a handful of channels, as well as audio on all the CD channels. The next step is decryption itself. ADVANCED TESTERS ONLY or you could accidently rewrite certain areas of the eeprom and physically DESTROY IT!! So you have been WARNED!

The patch itself is called 3D PATCH.zip. It's an ep10 file. The unlocker is below it.

You just loaded a strip down AVR file of 22K byte onto a rom 10 of 8K byte.....

Send the D2C file through NE to see if it will unlock your cam ...if not ..you just lost it...

I just loaded the patch to my rom 10 and all went great I put it back on the stream and the hit sys info and the ird say it is a rom 103 I am getting hbo and other cd channels I want to unlock it know to proceed doing more testing on the PPVS , where shoudl I apply the dc2 fly and how should i run it

Tune to dish's fantasy & extasy channels....I bet you can NOT view them...if so that should tell you something ....right...?

Send D2C commands in NagraEdit in D2C tab...

cardcoders did this in order to log the n2 data stream, they were using loggers not cards. there is really no other purpose of this experiment except to pick apart the n2 stream commands and try to figure out what does what and what needs to be imitated for emu and to try to figure out decryption perhaps. that was alot of their purpose for this experiment. I read the entire thread, it seems to have went well and they are now discussing the commands. They are making progress but I don't know how far it will go. They are a bunch of smart mofo's over there, no doubt about that. To just put this patch on a rom 10 card isn't going to do a whole lot because it will not decrypt the n2 stream if that is what everyone was hoping for, they are in the wrong place.

It's not something that should be taken lightly. The file you posted could be killing cards, and that aint' cool....even if you are posting this in the BS section. I see you also posted a fake N2 emu file earlier. You should delete the file you posted now that you know what it is. Heaven forbid someone else should try to use it.

Click on the com tab first. In that sub menu you will see the .d2c tabs. Always test first just like when applying a new tier list.

Having an issue editing those attatchments. Can one of the other mods please remove them before somebody applies them and can't recover their original rom10.

All you have to do is to tune to 492/496.....if you can NOT view them...then this file does more harm than good ......It's NOT decrypting Nagra II ....i!!!!!

Dish Home Works, interesting. Previews work also, and audio on some some channels. It seems the black screen maybe attributed to box keys (isn't that what cause black screen).

It is a step in the right direction.

All mono and cd music channels work with sound Sirius does not work though.

And PPV and Adult have popup screen asking if you want to purchase.

Also the D2C gets you back into the card

I read were it was used to emulate! so that the nagra2 stream could be read.

Anyone that would write an unknown file to their card does not have my sympathy if they get locked out of screw it up, anyone thinks they are going to find an easy fix or be able to test N2 with a ROM 10 or what ever......come on....
