YES THIS FREE TO AIR CHANNEL LIST WILL WORK FOR THE FORTEC.

AND TO ATIGRADO YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM AT THIS TIME.

Dish/BEV newbies and FTA newbies are actually two very different species. I can't tell you how many times I've had people ask me if they can get C-band with their 18" Dave dish and LNB.

The C and Ku band FTA sats wouldn't really be appropriate for Dish/BEV newbies to use for dish pointing because most do not have the required equipment to view them.

FTA requires a little more investment of time and money and that's why alot of folks are turned off by it. However, when there's an ECM, they're reminded instantly what those Pansats are made for.

Yes The Fta Recievers Were Ment To Do Just That It Was Intended To Receve Free To Air Channels.

So Yes The Big Dish Will Work. The Only Thing Is That The Lnb Is Ment For C Band Or Ku Band.

This Will Allso Hold All Free To Air Channels To Receive 100% Legal.

I see a lot of posts about Nagra 2 and missing channels etc.

Just thought I would bump this post, as it's accurate in describing the problem.

There is no hack for Nagra 2 yet. Anyone watching BEV will be out of service in 10 days.

Dishnetwork has started to switch some channels over aswell, but as far as I know we have no confirmed dates on Dishnetwork being completely Nagra 2.

I wonder if Charlie is Dating Bev on this one, and they will try to 'surprise' us by co-ordinating thier efforts and go down at the same time. Only time will tell.

We did experience an 'interuption' in Echo 6,8 services this week, but it only lasted a few hours and, so far, appears unrelated to N2 activity.

I suggest everyone with observations and Info on N2 post in this thread, as Crow started a good thread for us all.

Maybe they are behind schedule, nothing is written in stone with the change over. The company letter to subs said the 20th.
