Once it is hacked you can get it. As to when, as in a date, can't tell you. Could be a month, or a year, maybe never. Hope this helpz...

I know some of you have little patience with newbees, but here it goes...

What is Nagra2?

is it a satellite?
is it a code?

From where DN is moving the chanells to this Nagra2?

So far I know that the 2 satellites that DN uses is echo 110 and echo 119. and when I have to change the keys I have to go to NAGRAVISION. That's it.

Thanks for the patience

EchoStar is both Bell ExpressVu and Dish Network. For quite some time Echostar has used Nagra 1 encryption on all of it's satellite signals. Bell ExpressVU has almost completed a switch out to the new, and as yet unbroken, Nagra 2 encryption. BEV will be all N2 by the end of the month. Dish has already switched many international channels and some porn to N2. It is safe to say that only a few more months remain for Nagra 1 on Dish.

All Echostar satellites either are or will be affected by the switchover. The means Bell 82 and 91 and Dish 61.5, 105, 110, 119, 121 and 148.

THERE IS NO CURRENT AVAIABLE HACK FOR NAGRA 2. It sucks but that's just the way it is. Your magic cards, atmegas, emulation setups and FTA recievers WILL NOT WORK as currently configured. Period. If you spend any money at all buying a hack before it is confirmed by Mili, Royce, or one of the few respected admins in this business you are being scammed.

If anything does develop you'll read about it here first. It won't come to you in an email either. Sit back, read, and wait. It's all we can do right now.

wondering what Nagra 2 is when you hear other users mentioning it so thought we would help you out on it and describe it a bit better for you to understand the whole Nagra 2 situation.
What is Nagra 2?
· Nagra 2 is a new encryption algorithm that is being introduced by Dishnetwork & Bell ExpressVu

Will I still be able to test after Nagra 1 has completly left the stream?
· Unfortunately as of this time (April 12th 2005) there is no hack for these new cards which means your devices you are currently using will be no good for Nagra 2.
· Will I still be able to use my FTA after this new encryption takes over? The answer would be no and yes, no for encrypted programs and yes for free to air programs.

When will Nagra 2 start taking an effect?
· It has started on some channels already. As of right now for Dish & Bev they are moving the channels in packages. Ex: HDTV, Nascar, Venus, Indian chans, etc. Which will keep going until all channels have switched over and all of us are watching black screens. As some of the DTV users have experienced in the past.

So this time is to wait and watch.....you are not alone.....keep cool....who? when? what? might? will? all are in line ...
