Hi - I have a yellow AA-07 card that I guess is a Rom 102 (that's what it says when I insert it in the receiver, and it's Rev 103). But in researching, everything says a AA-07 is a Rom 101. I also have another yellow card that is a Rom 102, but instead of AA-07 on the back, it says SW-02. Anyone have any insight on these versions? I'm trying to get my hands on some ROM 101's, and I thought that's what I was getting with the AA-07. Thanks!

SJ, that's an old list and does not include ROM 102 or 103...

I have verified these, seems AA-06 can be either...maybe some others can be too....
AA-05 101 rev 007
AA-06 101 rev 007
AA-06 102 rev 103
AA-07 102 rev 103

I have an SW-01 which is a ROM102 which is currently at Rev. 103 it is married to an IRD

I also have an SW-02, which on the dish setup screen says DNASPS01 Dsh602, so I beleive this is a Rom 101 and niether of these cards look like the normal yellow cards. They have no channel icons on them, just the blue border on the 2 sides, and the yellow in the rest in a checkerboard pattern

So

SW-01 Rom102
SW-02 Rom101 (I think)

Can one of the experienced mods help us out here? What should I be looking for on the card or on the "info" screen? Thanks again!

Nah, I'm sure Mili has other other things on his mind, he doesn't want to hear any more crap. BUT, if he is watching this thread, Sir Mili - would you mind giving your thoughts on this? Maybe updating the newbie ROM version thread for us? Thanks,

The system info screen reports the ROM and rev numbers actually on the card.
NagraEdit will work too, just to read that info.....

Thank you Skin....will reading the card in NagraEdit mark the card (is that even a bad thing)?

I don't think it will.....That's how I get the info......just do a reset card, and it just reads ATR, card type, and version..
