I have a Dish 500 Twin LNB. Right now I have it filled up with a sub IRD and a test IRD. What would be the cheapest way to add a 3rd IRD to this dish? I dont know what all the different switches do, but can I add some type of switch to this even though the LNB has one built in for the 2 birds already? heres a picture of what I have incase i'm not explaining it right, or am calling it the wrong name.
You can pick up a quad lnb with the switch internal just like your twin for about $60. Make sure you get a legacy lnb since that's what you have now. It will only take you a few minutes to trade out the lnb and you won't have to reaim the dish or anything.

yea thats what i figured would be the easiest. I think with the swap coming soon I'll hold off on getting one until we find out if we can still test dish or not. I had the LNB off when I was running a line for my test IRD about 2 years ago so its definitly as easy swap to do :) thanks
On the other hand, you may be able to pick up a better deal than in the past on this kind of item just because of what you brought up. Only thing you'll loose by checking out fleabay is a few minutes of your time.
