Ok i live in a rural area so i see alot of Dave and Charlie dishes on peoples house. Within the past year i have the majority of Charlie with the superdish setup cause in our area we need it to get the locals. Lately though i have seen many of the Superdishes removed and 2 single LNB dishes(18") put up. But both are pointed in different directions almost like 1 is hitting daves birds and the other hitting charlies birds. So i was wondering waht the deal was with this?

But 1 dish is charlie logo dish and other is dave logo dishThe name on the dish don't mean much. If they are 18" you can pick up 110 and 119 because they are close-9Degrees apart. Now for DTV toget locals you have to have a 20" min oval dish and for Dish you need the superdish-36""-wider sat range. Or you could use multipal dishes set for different sats with the proper switching to combine the signals for a receiver. Basically you can tell what sats people are trying to get. The degrees the dish is pointed will tell you that. 110-119 are the norm for basically dish and dtv. Now say on dish you want to pick up 62.5 that is way left and you need another dish for that if your playing with small dishes. If someone has say dish and dtv the dishes are pretty much aimed in the same direction, but if you see one way off to the right or left they are picking up another sat.
