FTA Receivers = Nagra 2

:) As I read various post through out this forum……I keep running across questions regarding …..“Is my FTA Satellite Receiver ready or compatible for Nagra Two". Well read on……

If you open up to view the insides of an actual true Dish Network Satellite Receiver….the latest model. You will find that Dish Network Satellite Receivers use the same identical Microprocessor Chip that most of the FTA Satellite Receivers use…..the Sti5518 – it’s the brain (so-to-speak). So that tells us something. If Dish Network latest/newest Satellite Receivers are using the same identical Microprocessor that most of the Old and New Model FTA Receivers use, having the same part number (Sti5518) – then most (if not all) models of FTA Satellite Receivers are ready for “Nagra Two” – “Nagra Three” – “Nagra Four”, etc., etc., etc. Now it’s just a matter of creating the proper Nagra Two software to install in the FTA Satellite Receivers. Any electronic technician or computer engineer will tell you I am correct….at least “in theory”.

Dish Network’s Satellite Access Card is nothing more than computer software......it’s the software on Dish Network Satellite Access Card which carries Nagra Two data – not the actual receiver. Hence: if we could apply this same identical "Software" to our FTA Microchip, yes we would have "Nagra Two" (so-to-speak) in theory.

The software on Dish Network Card….tells the Microprocessor Chip (Sti5518) what NEW directions to follow. And I repeat…… it is not the actual Dish Network Receiver that is Nagra Two Ready, but the software on the Access Cards. Remember, Dish Network has done a Satellite Card Access Swap/Change, not a Satellite Receiver Swap/Change. And when designing NEW Access Satellite Cards for Dish Network (or Direct TV) – these Computer Encryption Technician Designers – have to remember and keep in mind, that they are limited in design. Meaning that they can only make the NEW Satellite Access Card only do so much, no matter how much technology is out their and currently available. Due to the fact that Dish Network (and Direct TV) customers still have MANY older (nearly obsolete) Satellite Receivers out their. These older Receivers can barely handle the NEW Nagra Two Data. And just because of this reason is Dish Network and Direct TV’s major draw-back.

If Dish Network and Direct TV would make an actual Satellite Receiver swap and release a totally NEW Satellite Receiver's with the latest in Digital Satellite Technology – then ALL of us that are currently using FTA Satellite Receiver’s to view Dish Network Broadcasting would be totally screwed. And YES – we would need an entirely NEW FTA Receiver built with similar electronics and technology as a Dish Network Receiver. Dish Network or Direct TV will not do that, because it is not economical and would cost them two much money to replace each Satellite Receiver and to much time involved, plus at the same time – they may loose some customers due to this Satellite Receiver swap-out and exchange. So as for not upgrading Satellite Receivers – is one of Dish Network and Direct TV’s main drawbacks, and you can ask any satellite technician about that too of what I am saying.

Are you kidding? And you think a card swap is fucking cheap? Think about how many tens of millions these new cards cost? I bet the technology in the cards cost more to develop than creating a new IRD. Software is where its at, and software licences are the most costly part of any system. Obviously what we can see we can hack, or attemp to, but a card, we cant see whats going on inside it, so we cant map it. It's not a cheaper solution, it's a smarter one

well, I would go break his legs now because a FTA receivers is only worth about $60-200 tops, so you got ripped off, and he promised nagra 2, so you got lied to on top of it. None are going to work with Nargra 2, for mainly the same reasons you never ever saw DTV on FTA. Fair? this hobby was never fair. Just the way it goes.

what I heared that software needed to run Nagra 2 on FTA is bigger in space that what actual FTA's memory can handle, and that they are now new models with bigger memory chips, so now they can handle nagra 2, well time will tell.

You forguet something.. DTV and DISH can update the receiver firmware via datastream they not need to replace the IRD's if the tsop's have memery to support the new firmware

i posted this in a thread, countrymagic still is getting all channels including porn on a blue sub, they couldnt flash his yellows so they reflashed the old blue 10. can someone clarify
this? i dont believe it but this is the only conclusion,

1. fta recievers will need n2 software (we dont know software yet)

2.old 2700 recivers are reciving n2 right now

3.must be a code issue we cant see on the recivers itself

conclusion-key has to lie in the card it self,before any speculation a hacked card
will have to be there,before we can say ftas will work.

I really can't believe d*$h did this, and I can't see how it's possible that they "flashed" a rom 10 to do N2...however, if it's true, all we need for a N2 hack is for that rom 10 to be dumped and the information available to us.

If we can clone a card we can see what it is subscribe by the ird and box keys on this legit cam id, just clone any ird with later software and insert the card on the clone one and you will get the sub channels. it is a good start.

That picture is from a old scam that went around in August or September, Then they were selling cards for $ 300 to get N2 channels.

Phoney, Phoney Phoney, Don't tell me someone is using that same old picture to try to sell FTA's.
