RAI international?

Hey guys, I have noticed in one of my two receivers (301-id13) that I still can watch RAI international, even thought this is one of the channel that went to N2.
I also noticed that in the other receiver I get the "you need to install new cards in order to watch this channel" but whith the channel seleted I press the guide button I still can see the channel.
It may be a silly observation , but why is that some receivers can still get those channel when they are gone with the N2 stream?

Are the firmware versions for both receivers the same??
It is possible that channel is not N2, just blacked out w/new card message with new firmware.

One is 205 and the other one is 229 I think.

Can't be thinking, a quick peek at the system info screen will show exactly what it is.
205 is the latest 301-013 firmware, 229 is the last version of 301-010 firmware, 241 being the latest.

That being said, the channel must be both N1 and N2 and blacked out with 205 firmware and not blacked with 229 firmware.

Hi Skinerd the one that have the channel without the "attention 361" has software 200 and the other one 205.
I wonder if the channel move to N2 then some software will help to watch some channels. could be that posibly?

Rai has gone N2 but when i use my Rom 10, Dish 501 on the index it is visable in the preview box.

I too can view full screen RAI

Goto channel above RAI (625) fullscreen...then press down channel to RAI..you get card message...press guide and RAI pops up in Preview Box...With my 501 pvr
i press record and it pops to full screen...even when i stop recording it stays full screen..

I have the same thing as omega man on the RIA channel, I have a 510 converted to a 508 with a rom 10 card running mili's private blocker, I can do what he does to get RAI too bad it don't work on porn

I am getting channel 600 RAI full screen selected from the EPG on a model 7200 with no problems. It was supposed to have gone N2 on April 16 but from what I have read about it the channel is in limbo right now still being sent for both N1 and N2 transport streams. Funny thing is the 7100/7200 was just updated to 126 two days ago so I unlocked and updated mine. Still brings in RAI without a problem even with the latest firmware.
