so I bought a 301 from ebay and.......

I just got it today and plugged it in and stuck it in the stream to check that it works. Now as soon as I plugged it in, it ran through it test and downloaded the guide. Then after a min or so every thing came on. How can this be and how long will it last. I have been testing with my old 3900 and a blue card but I got this in the hope the N2 is hacked soon. It is a 301 with a 102 rev 103. It sorta scared me when all the channels started working lol all but ppv of coarse. Is there anyway i can keep this up? I do have a magic card also but I heard the 10x blocker doesnt work....go figure lol

BTW dish pro is so much faster then my old legancy head. Amazing how fast the guide downloads...

Sounds like it was a sub that someone replaced with a new IRD.
Since they kept the sub the card has not been canceled.
I bought a few like that. If you keep watching it they will eventually cancel the card and, most likley lock it.

Best bet is to just use magic camless and save the card for testing before it is locked.

If you save the 301 flash which you should do if you are going to test...
Put the 3900 IRD # & Box Key & on a copy and 'clone' the 301 to the same numbers.
That way you can use your magic card in both of them with the same progarmming.
