Can someone assist me with finding a voltage regulator for a Norcent television, model# TV-2042. The regulator comes in an IC package, part number 5Q1265RF. I'v found a few places that has it but they require that I place a minimum order of over $100 because I'm not in the US. I only need one of these and I hate to see the Tv go because of this small but important part.

I don't see a NTE cross for that part number.
Matelectronics.com
MCMinone.com
These two usually are just a 25 min order. Mat has dish remotes for 7 bucks. Maybe something to get you up to the 25 buck range.
I order alot of parts for work also so possible I could order it if one of our regular suppliers carries it and send it to you.

Brand: Norcent , model:TV-2042. I didn't note the ref #.
It's difficult because Norcent is not a popular Brand but people always go for the cheap stuff.
Birdie, I also tried to cross it with NTE but wasn't coming up with a match. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here are two sites I found it on:
www.icpowerx.com
www.summitelectronics.com

No Min order, Same day shipping and in stock, Looks like about $3.99 plus shipping
A KA Mosfet prefix usually, Yep troublesome mosfets LOL. Check the caps around it, They usually go out of range when these fail.
