Are you able to configure your dish in the menus as a 3 lnb oval dish ? Do you even SEE the hd tiers or 90 & 99 test channels ? If so, try running your c lnb directly to the rcvr (no multiswitch or combiner). If it works, then the problem is in the rcvr, and no, I don't have a fix either. (Mine cant tune in the B lnb...gets incorrect voltage and wrong channels tune in).
Also, be SURE you have the C lnb kit, not just any single lnb as it will not work.
Mine has the 5.03 software, and I remember seeing a post on another forum that rca used to send downloads to subs at certain times, but doesn't any longer. You can, if its a legal sub, contact rca and ask them about "paddle switches" which one of their dealers can use to install new software for you. May have to be in warrenty tho, don't know.
(Hope you didn't do the write-protect mod on this box or you'll never get the update)

(Hope you didn't do the write-protect mod on this box or you'll never get the update) I'm having the same problem. There is a new thread posted today under the subject HDTV which might help. I have the sat C installed, but my B+C combiner is hooked up, I don't know.
Will check out later on.
