Anyone ever messed with these things before?
Just bought one off of Ebay! If it wasn't for all of the work I have had to do to keep it running, even though it is in the shop right now (he he), I'd love the shit out of it. Thing definently hauls some ass though.

Yes I have two a xtm xterminator 4x4 buggy and a savage 4x4 truck I like the truck the best with the two speed trans I spend a lot of time running them at the sand dunes here in California. If you think some of your lady friends are finiky then you aint seen nothing yet till you spend some time with your nitro car. Do yourself a favor and by an infared temp gauge so you can get the motor adjusted to run at 230-275 deg to lean and you will burn the piston to rich and it will be slow and have no power. They are almost as much fun as my 427hp northstar offroad car.

I finally fucked the piston up on my car. I know why it screwed up too. It was because I didn't go through the break in process. :( I'll probably try and fix this one. The wrist pin holes got wallered out. Maybe I can fill them up with some high strength epoxy. Just have to wait and see.
I have now ordered an HPI T-15 motor for it and waiting for it to come in. The motor that came stock on the car was too hard to find parts for....actually couldn't find any at all so I figured I might as well get an engine that I can get replacement parts for.
Nice pictures of your truck, Cid6.7.

I would suggest to any & everyone to get a good set of Aluminum Bulkheads & Chassis braces & everything else from RPM. A-arm's etc The problem with aluminum a-arms is they bend & untill you go buy another set your steering is all fudged up..
RPM arm's are super strong plastic. Also get a rollcage I went & got a new Giant cooling head & scratched the hell outa it the 1st time it landed upside down (was trying to do a backflip..lol) Also get things off ebay super cheap compared to your LHS
