rca receiver has locked locals

When writing locals write the correct zip code for your area that you are trying to get ....
Also give them 24 hours to update or come in ...

Howdy, neighbor... :) (I live north of Dallas)...if you're trying to get Dallas locals, when you write to your card, enter 05-Dallas, which will give the card a 28 guide byte...and use 76201 for a zip. All I know about Minneapolis is that it's cold as hell in the winter. :p

Need to wait, maybe several hours or overnight, it will change to the locals on your card eventually.
If your card has a good guide and locals byte.

the card is not the problem , i can use it in other receivers and the locals come in fine. it has somrthing to do with the receiver's memory


Like I said , give it 24 hours to update or unplug it over night and the memory will be delpleted and your locals should work ...
It all takes time .. This is not out of the normal !!

And if you have a RCA 430 give them 48 hours to come in ...
