2700 "searching"

I have been using a 2700 with Magic (on BEV) for a while. Everything worked fine. Put it away for a month, and when I tried it again yesterday it has no signal and keeps searching. I know there is signal (tested with another receiver). I get proper smart card I.D. (not all 000's) Software version is E509.... I tried turning off overnight, and leaving on all day. I have re-inserted the original married card instead of magic.

Any ideas?

try doing a hard reset of the ird- then go into the setup menu and do a check switch- iggy

Tried that...didn't work.

Did you re-program the Magic Card with the new keys ?
Try that then do a switch check.

This is happening without the magic card. I just have the smart card in...

If it is a subbed card it may have been turned off since it has been off line so long.
Or if you stopped paying the bill it could be locked out.

Try the magic...................

Make sure you have 13v/18v on the sat in connector.
That connector may need resoldering to the board.

It should stilll get a sat signal no matter what card is in it...I will try the voltage....
