hard disk upgrade problem

am installing an 80 gigs HD on my 510 convert to 508 so i can take the 120gb one ...


turn off ar105-c lock
is a seagate i did the disk wizard zero fill in "full"
load virgin firmware to u6 and u7 and virgin eeprom
connect to the stream with original yellow card

i get hard disk error code 0422

and if i check sys info it said loc id 00000001 ????

how i get ecm ?? if is that !!



did i need to adjust the lba size even if the hard disk is 80gigs???

Is the 80 gig drive on the compatible list? If it is not it won't work.
422 means that it did not marry correctly.
There are a lot of hard drive marrying posts right here.

and what about the loc id 000001

is a fresh virgin tsop and eeprom ??

or when it try to marry and cant it get loc id 000001 ?? is that ??

error codes 0422 , no data in sector 3 131071
error codes 04ee, the hard disk is Incompatible
error codes 0457, bad ide cable, Worg hard disk mode(master/slave/cs), no power on hard disk) damage hard disk
If the hard disk is corrupt then the receiver will erase the hard disk and rebuild the catalog data.

curious thing i dont get the 04ee error so how it can be incomptible

i get 0422 and 04fe or something like that

i found out the hard disk is 7200 is the speed have something to do with it
or the pvr olnly accept 5400
