2700 and jtag????

Hi i have a 2700 that when i use jkeys i get the box keys and everything ok but no matter what i do it wil not let me flash programme it, it keeps coming up error flash not recognized etc.. i have jtaged a few 2700 and 3100 but never had this prob..the sw version reads ...e451CODA-F .. any help would be greatly apreciated..thankyou.

Are you using J-Keys 2_9_11_026 ? That's best for the 2700 / 2800.

Are you erasing the old flash (3 times) before trying to program a new one in.

Ignore the error message that comes up when writing, just click yes and it will do the right thing.

Hey smilingjack the thing is it won't let me erase anything and yes i am using jkeys 2.9....it won't let me do any flashing what so ever???Thanx for the help.....

Then use wall2 it will do almost any IRD - erase 3 times and put the new one in with it.

You may have to shut it all down and start it back up several times before it gets going.

when iues wall2 do i erase the flash 3 times or the eeprom? and what do i programme the flash with? thanks for all the help...

What were you going to program it with here ? Use the same flash as you were trying to flash it with then.

The eprom is seperate and can be done anytime.
