I had 2 legit 'new card' subs unplugged for about 2 weeks. I have plugged them back in and they are showing all RED except a very few 'free' channels. Most of the channels are not showing up in the guide (missing).

My sub is ok because my other 2 units are working fine (they were not unplugged).

Is Bell now expiring tiers if the units are unplugged? Do they need to be hit again via a phone call or simply leave them plugged in for a day or so?

I hate calling Bell for anything even though I have a valid reason.

if you leave them plugged in you should be ok, I had pulled my N2 card and ran atmega for 2 months, and it took me powering off the IRD overnight to get the N2 sub to work again.

If it's taking longer than 12 hours I would put in a call.

If the card is not in at least once a week to update it will die on you and you usually have to call up.
Best to put them in once a week or so to keep them current.

I let my sub go 2 weeks and channels were all there within 2 hours
