301.010 Its final days

I have downloaded 301 reserection,301 bible,and everything else I could find .I have a 301.010 that is phone jtaged using setwires jtag.the build is EAED.I have taken a back-up from another EAED I have and installed it with virgin eprom It finally took once,but it would freeze up when I was in the Menu.So Useing walls I erased and reinstalled but I can not get it to take a second time.I check all installed flashes with hex editer and they are all curupt once I instal into receiver,so I am thinking it must not be going into boot mode? rtight?Is there anyway other way to force it into boot mode so I can get a clean install?
All my conections are goood I have ohmed them all out with my FLUKE,I am using a long cord form my jtag,but I am also useing a 12 volt power supply(I have also tried it at diferent voltages,makes no diferent)I have logged about 200 hours into this receiver.could it be something else with the receiver?I have used two diferent computors.

never use a cable longer than 12 inches for jtaging,


just a thought.

from my jtag to my receiver it is only 7 inches,but from my computor to my jtag it is severtal feet

Try downloading # 2 in the TSOP bank, it is EAEA and will work with your IRD (EAED)
I just took it as a backup after the last P-change. There are both .bins and a EPROM in the file.
You have the boot sector OK unless it says LSI missing using slow loading and it takes a hour to load the .bins.

If you want to change the boot sector use wall2 and have it install the first 60,000 of bin 2.

Your problem is either with the flash or the J-Tag

from my pc to my jtag pads is maybe 18" of wire, not several feet
