110 and 119 odd even problems

my problem is i have 2 dishes for 110 and another for 119 i have an sw21 to connect the 2 dishes to one receiver and i have another receiver connect directly to the 119 one.

in the one connect with the sw21 the first time everything was fine then everytime i want to view tv i have to run check switch cause the sat dissapear only see 119
then it get 119 odd and even and 110 odd then nothing no detect switch and only get 119... this is with my testing ird


with my sub ird connect direct to the 119 everything fine of course since i setup the other dish then today it start to get problems it detect ewvery kind of switch sw21 sw64 dpxx all of them and sai 119 odd or 119 even or no sat really i dont get it i connect my testing ird to where was my sub ird and everything fine no switch and 119 odd and even???

i read something about the combination of lnb and switches
could someone can clear this for me

i have 2 dishes of 4' 1/2 one channel master and other from dave
110 and 119
an sw21 to connect both to my testing 508
and a sub 311 direct to the 119

You cannot hook a SW21 up to 2 110 LNB's

You have to use 2 different sats with a SW21 (like 119 & 110)

The switch cannot see 2 110 dishes it is confused.

or maybe he's confused.......... if you have 110 and 119 with a sw21 and another IRD on only 110 or 119, thats fine. However everytime I have gotten different results from running a check switch it has been due to bad or wrong cable. you need to use a goor RG56 with no couplers or splices.

you get it wrong i have 2 dishes one in 110 and 119
and am getting both sat with sw21 into my 510
and the 311 only on the 119

cause the lnb have dual output to connect 2 ird

Then the problem is most likley with the 311

Swap the wires and make sure the switch is working, the 510 should work on either outlet and the 311 should work on either one too. If the work the same when they are switched, it is the 311 and not the switch.

check the 311 for current firmware (P-3.10 is current)
do a switch check (311) with the other IRD NOT CONNECTED TO THE SWITCH.

i disconnect the 311 and check switch on 510 and i get 119 odd and even and 110 odd only

Sounds like a bad LNB or switch

Hook 1 IRD direct to the 110 LNB.....NO SWITCH........... AND DO CHECK SWITCH

If you get Even & Odd this way it is the switch.

If you only get Even this way it is the LNB.

ok i meade the test and it said 110 odd and even everything fine connect the 119 alone and get again odd and even then i put again the switch but this time i swap input i put 110 in input 1 and 119 in input 2 and do a check switch ... guess what 119 odd and even 110 odd and even

Doing them seperatley sometimes clears a stuck file that holds the switch settings.

i would like to take off all those channels from 110 that get difficult to get signal like locals from other states . cause i end up when change channels with the anoying message of looking for signal on transporter XX

i only get signal on few transporter and spotbeam 4 cause is my area

add super important my tier for locals is suppose to be 2328-2328 can open more that range to see if i can get the others locals am currently seeing only one !!!

It may be that the 119 dish is not quite aligned properly and the signal is weak!!!
