I'm new too, please help!

I have little to no experience with this stuff. I have 2 BEV 3100 receivers, and have been subscribing from them for about 1 1/2 years. Please let me know what i need to get started. THX

ok, i read that guide for newbies and learnt alot. Both 3100 recievers have a rom10 card, which is still in the stream. both of them are rev a3d.
Basically what i'm asking you for is, what is the most effective way of testing these units, and keeping them up and running?

The most effective way for you would be to acquire a DSSREV card as your cams are locked ..just a matter of plug and play and gives you the option to program it as a rom3...OR..you could go the route if atmega..but requires you to jtag both ird's for boxkeys...hardware needed.
