301.010 with atmega.

erased sa3 and IRD updated to 240 something. programed atmega with current keys and everychannel is available in the menu, but when you tune to a channel screen is black.

anysuggestions.

I thought the current is p300? why did it update to 240?

why would all the channels be black?

Bad boxkeys and/or public keys are the first things I'd check..

Yep the latest is P-241 came out last month for the 301.10
Like Skinnard said sounds like public keys if you have guide & black screen or "not authorized"

the keys always roll on the atmegas I use though. I am not getting any errors, only black screen on every channel other that the info channels

Getting nothing but the info channels is what happens when the public keys are wrong.
Yoyur keys did not roll this time, re-program the ATM with the new keys.

found the problem, I had my wife write down the IRD and boxkey, and in the box key she wrote an 8 instead of a B, go figur. LOL

thats why I do this stuff and not her LMAO

Yea, yea yea, blame it on the wife, that's what I always do too.....lol.....

Seriously tho,,,,,,,,,those 8s and Bs do seem to get mixed up a lot.
