I'm using Blacklist STB Updater 1.4.0.0 and GTools without a problem on the 2500A ... can I still use this same software for the 2700 and do I still flash the same way? In other words, are you guys doing the same exact thing with the 2700?

You can't use the same tools or software. However, you can download the tools from www.pansatusa.com, the STB Loader (set top box), Gtools for 2700 and a factory flash to restore your box to original specs, if you ever need/want to. Then you can download and install the latest autoroll/EPG right from this site, I believe. I would recommend the jrf_2700A_AC3_032105 channel list, as it is the best I have found for the D15H's and B3LL's. This reciever is pretty good, but I can't say its much better than the 2500a. That's not an insult either, since the 2500a is the best bang for the buck. The 2700 has more memory which made for an easier EPG creation. The splash screen is a little nicer and it changes when you change the bin. Other than that, there shouldn't be much trouble for anyone switching from the 2500 to the 2700. If your a Noob, I would recommend reading the "complete Pansat 2500a" guide, found here on this site. Just take into account that you can't use the same files or loaders. The info is very similar and it will surely help you get going.
