Save your current channel list and then install the new EPG bin. Do a "factory settings" flash through the menu options (press menu, facotry settings, hit "ok") and then TPscan all the channels. This WILL give you the EPG. Take the time to do this properly and then if you are not happy just reload the old chan. list you saved. If you do like the EPG you should save it and THEN fukc with it (ie: change the channel name, etc). I would not suggest moving the channels around just yet. With TPscan they load in the same transponder. Test this method, then post your issues.

THE UTMOST RESPECT TO TDG!

THIS METHOD WILL GIVE YOU THE EPG!!!!

All I did was loaded the EPG bin right over the 246 bin and it came right up!! I am using Dido' Smith's channel list and it is working pretty good! It is slow giving the name of the program sometimes, but it does work! I have not had to scan anything just loaded it right over the old bin. I just checked it and still giving the name of the program. You have to use the info button most of the time but not always. I am impressed so far. I believe if they keep tweaking on it it won't be too bad at all. I definitaely like this bin better than the Fortec bin! Just my observations so far.

ok I see why they recommend scan all.....at first I didn't do the scan. In other words I just overwrite the bin file and the EPG does come up. However, it takes a long time before it shows up or sometimes not at all. So I did a Blind Scan for ALL sats and it's much better now.
