new bin 248-api not working?

did a factory reset..downloaded bin 248 and all i get is the olde knightrider..went back to bin 245 and it works great..what am i doing wrong??please help..patoloco

that's because you did not pick the right sat after factory reset. usually you need to go to the installation menu and setup up everything over again including setting up the right Diseq and all that crap correspond to the right Sat. Then you will need to do a SAT SCAN for each one of the sat you have.

canot go to the installation while the knightrider is flashing...however i think i found my mistake...did not unzip the bin..will try the right way..hopefully it will work..patoloco
