When does Dishnet start dying?

well we all know that June 9th is the last day for BEV, but when does Dishnet go Nagra2? i was at my buddies house (he has Dishnet on a Pansat) and we were able to watch some channels, MTV, Fuse, Cartoon Network, G4, Disney Channel. But no PPV. does anyone know if this was just a bad channel download? or are the missing channels Nagra2? i really wanna get Dish, but if its gonna last only a month, then fuck it.

It's already started. Charlie has yet to convert anything worth while accept the porn, but some of the Starz channels will go 6/8....and it will probably get worse pretty quick. All the PPV's should still be there on a Pansat. They're still there for most of us running Charlie N1. ...for now anyway.

i knew it. son of a bitch. i miss the days of free tv. if i could, id pay for DirecTV or Dishnet up here in Canada. i fuckin hate the lame Canadian versions of American channels. dont even get me started on MTV.

You can , haven't you heard of people in canda getting Subs to Dish or Direct thru a
" Go between" meaning companys that have Setup US Address wether they be P.O. box or actually mailboxes do a search or ask someone here as there are plenty of people who do this and VIce Verso in the us ( ie peeps from Canda that move to the US or have Summer Resdiences get Subs to bev here , I don't know why they would but they DO !) Althought the places charge you a fee to do it ( I think its like $5 to 10 $10 a month)

For most BEV is going to be dead (as far as what they want to watch) in the next couple weeks but per a Press Release from BEV on the 27th it will be July 1st for the final blow.

As far as Dish for the last several months Dish has been working in a targeted way on their groups that have the least Subs. These so far have been all Adult PPV except the Playboy Latino, Most Internationals (just 11 of 159 left unscheduled), Starz! Premium Movies and PPV Cricket.

Dish is at 176 of 2250 channels scheduled or switched to N2 only. Read my threads on the switch to N2 only that are stickies at the top of the forum.

And you need to update your bell list, the ones you said are gone on the 27th are still going (ppvs and movie channels are the only ones gone at the moment)

The lists are as accurate as they can be.
It does no good to change them just because charlie or Bev can't keep a schedule, be glad they are slow and not ahead of schedule.

BT has put a lot of work into them already, don't ask him to neglect other things to be up to the minute.

Starz start folding June 1st if you read the lists. Then more go June 8th and June 15th.

As for BEV. Heck. That changes all the time. They change their dates every day and their Press Release may be a ploy to push people to get their N2 Cards in, but likely not. Dish at least usually sticks to the dates and only change them on Wednesdays although things have slipped on several channels in the past like the Starz and the Playboy when that was due to go N2 only.

As for these lists it takes me hours to collect the data, clean it and work it into Databases I maintain and output the data in a format that is usable and post the lists everywhere I go, so I only do this once a week for them if I can get away with it.
