I've been having problems with channel 598 (GLOBO) for over a week now, and didn't realise about the introduction of N2 until I started reading on here.
(until now I only needed new keys every now and then).

The problem with 598 is that it just shows black. Nothing.
No "unauthorized", no error messages, nada, just a black screen (and no sound).
Would this indicate it went Nagra2? I didn't see it in the list of transitioned channels.
I have some other channels in my tiers and they work fine.

Help! Should I give up on this one channel or is there another explaination?

Sorry, my mistake, you're right - 598 IS in the list - .. I actually meant channel 596.

In general, does black screen mean it went N2? Or should I expect a much more hacker...ehm...user friendly message saying I need to swap cards?

596 has been gone for a while.Black screen usually means its gone. Before that you will get the change card by-"the date" and you can hit ok until that date, after that its gone-black screen.

The put the card must be switched for the new card before xx/xx/xx about a month before it changes over.
What you get after is up to whatever method you are using to hack.
