My Kids are costing me a bundle for downloading rings etc from our service providor.

Anyone know were to get software to do it from my computer.

Motorola v220

I use 3gupload.com. They charge $13.95 for 6 months. Just make sure you read what you are getting because you can only get 5 music ringtones. Plus you need text messaging on your cell phone. Another thing I am now starting to play with is get an data cable for your phone, thru ebay???, and then use bitcomm I think it is and you can do anything you want to your phone. Haven't tried this yet because the company sent me the wrong stuff so I am waiting for the right cable to come in. Also on ebay you can buy the cable and a disc that has all kinds of stuff for your phone. Just do a search for accessories for your phone. Good luck.

Just another thing that I forgot to mention. Watch out what you download from your service provider because a lot of times they are only good up to 90 days then they don't work any more, especially the games.

I had(lost) a Motorola V220 and the Rogers dealer provided the software, check with your dealer!

yes there is a software that will let you do that but you can't find it in Canada comes with 5 different usb cords it is called DATAPILOT try e-bay i am going us on july 16 2005 let me know how you make out sells for $89.00 US

I have a spare house charger for the v220. Can I bastardize it and put a cig lighter plug on the end and have a car charger? Or is their something happening here that is more complicated?

C-Tire and WallMart sell 75watt cigarette lighter invertors for 9.95, or you can bastardize it.
