This is odd.
Got home last night and all channels were red, just like the rest of us in the MC boat.
One last event to record in the timer list on my 508. I left it just to see what error would occur onscreen for future reference. The only thing I did different was turning the IRD off this time.
The damn show recorded! The timer data was channel 132, 1:15 AM CST.
I made sure the channel flag was red in the list. The timer was set last week. And it wasn't midnight rolling across the plains, cause I was down at 12:01 according to the boss.
This is odd. But it does show that there is a date/time relationship between the IRD and Magician's code. Or that shows listed in the timer 'fool' the card software as to the date set/record date settings are somehow handled differently in the firmware in the IRD.
This is just an observation on my part and YMMV. I ain't no coder. I just sling solder.
Anyone else have timers set on thier PVR's that performed correctly after midnite last night?
