510 pvr

I just bought a pvr510 and two 301's. i am mainly interested in just the 510. I am new to this and need some help getting started. Will someone help. Do i need to add the JTAG to this unit, the vid mod or any thing else. and was wondering if i could use the magic card on this one also....any info would be helpful.

You need to solder a buffered jtag to the board, do the 4-wire vidmod and resize the hard drive down to 80gb. Also, you should add a removable jumper to OJ1. I use atmega, but I'm pretty sure the magic card will work. Good luck.
