View Full Version : DVR721 & Yellow Cards Problem

Hi,

I have a 721 ird which work fine with rom10 card (except nagra2 channels) and I try to sub this ird with ex-sub rom102 (yellow card). I call dishnet and they send authorization and they try to remarried card to my 721, nothing is works. Always got same massage:" ERROR 020. ...wrong card for this receiver...". I spend 3-4 hours on a phone with 3-4 different technicians, we try 2 yellow cards, and nothing helps. Soft on IRD is L175. Any idea? Dishnet offer new 721 replacement ird, but I like my because I have Box Key for it. PLEASE HELP..

LOL that sounds good for some of US , I know it is not good for you friend but I hope Dish keeps having these problems and SLOWWWWWWWWWS the switch up

My yellow card is dead also.I am afraid to call Dish thinking it is a trap!Any ideas out there? Thanks-mmhbs1

Providers updated to revision 105 so if you were screwing with you're dish sub who knows coulda marked the card in a way which caused dish to loop your card....

Not smart to play and tinker with your subscribed cards.

Didn't tinker with yellow card.I am using camless rom 10 mc1.When the mc1 went down on 6/1 I put yellow card in and found out it no longer works.It worked when I got it.

When the swap is finally complete dish is gonna have their hands full re-activating all the subs that have been left out of the stream for n1 cams. The tech's will have quite a bit of work for themselves...
