it tells me win zip cannot open this file it does not appear to be a valid archive!!
do I have to use different way to open it??

try deleting the file and D\L it again..if that don't work than it could be a corrupt file ..or the file is missing file's and can't be used.

I changed it to a zip file for people who do not have the rar utility

I have put the zip/rar program with it for future use.

Install the winzip/rar program on your computer.
Download the program.
Put it in a folder.
Right click on the program, it will have a list of options, click extract here.
It will make a DishMagicPgm folder in that folder next to the .zip folder.
Click on the folder.
Click on the EXE file
Follow the instructions in the thread EXACTLY...........
