I converted my 3100 from B*v to D*sh no problem,found sat 110 no problem.

The problem is how do I find sat 119 and does anyone what's on that one??

And what are spot beams about??

Thanks for the info.

Spot beams are 'regional' signals that carry primarily the locals for that area. Most of Charlie is on 119, so if your only gonna hit one, that's the one you want. Basically, what you do to aim a dual lnb dish is dial in 119 perfectly, then adjust skew to factory default for your area and that will be your perfect compromise of both 110 and 119.

119 is over to the right and about 3 cm lower than 110. 119 has only 4 PPV channels on it.

Thanks

Depends which bird you try to find first I guess. If I find 119 first, 110 is harder to find and vice versa. But truthfully, they are not any more difficult to find than Dave's or Bells.
