Ok, So I took the plunge and overcame my fear of motors.

We installed one here today at my workplace and got it. We are usign a universal LNB and aimed our dish at AMC4 for calibration. Shortly after that we found we had made adjustments and bingo - we're on the ARC perfectly.

My question:

I believe my LNB is linear, whichs makes me believe I can only receive horizontal or vertical TPs from DISH satellites, correct?

What are my options to maximize the number of satellites I can receive on the 39" dish.

Have I missed some easy answers? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply.

When I attach the circular LNB, how is it wired? I understand the Sg2100 doesn't have enough power from the receiver to drive the motor and 2 lnbs. Is this LNB connected through a DiseCq switch?

I assume I would have to "fine tune" each of the satellites to slightly offset them from their original pre-programmed locations.

You are correct that it will be connected and powered through the DISQC sw. You will have to fine tune it before you hook it on permanently. Use rubberbands or ties to hold it till it is where you want it then use something to hold it permanently. Epoxy works good.
