x-85...that 5 indicates for pansat 2500a. No, haven't tried and doubt if its any good. Infact, I'd bet it's complete garbage. Where did you get it? And have you tried it? Chances are that if a crack for N2 came out it would probably only work for the newest recievers. Just like the newest recievers recieved the EPG's first, they would get the N2 crack first. I have been reading for some time about a pending hack but I don't think that it will happen so soon if ever. I would love to tell you that its gonna be here, don't worry, etc., but the truth is it probably won't. I am optomistic but I am also realistic. This is a really hard cookie to crack. Think about it. It took forever to get an EPG and that was no walk in the park for the coders. I know that some people think that because we actually got an EPG that an N2 crack is next, but its about 7million times more complicated. Another thing to be aware of is that if you are a Pansat owner like myself, the keys change every three minutes with N2. You see how long it takes to download the keys and we only have to put up with that every day or two. Imagine trying to watch a program and it freezes every three minutes, then takes 5 minutes to download, then freezes...and we would be lucky to have that! The code they are trying to hack (IF they are even trying) is not crackable. We can hope at best that there will be a leak, but I doubt it will happen. Listen, I'm really not trying to be negative, but I think people should be aware of the theatrics involved with cracking code. You should read the multiple forum posts on the big SAT sites and educate yourself about N2. It is a 1 in a billion chance that we will get N2 with FTA, and that is the low down dirty truth according to those who know the industry better than you and I. I for one hope that I will be eating these words tomorrow, but I have it on good authority that N2 is an impenatrable force and I will not be shocked when D15H is dead. And just so everyone knows, the ONLY reason the old Pansat models have an EPG is because Panarex is trying to boost sales, keep somewhat of a reputation, and fain any fears of the impending end to the FTA market.
