How many boxes allowed in DN plan?

Just curious..is there a limit as to how many boxes you can have on a dish network plan? Not free ones either; example, my friend has 3 boxes already, can i buy 2 more off of ebay, then add them to his plan but keep them at my place so we can split the bill? I mean legitly speaking, what if someone really did have 5 or 6 tv's in their house and didn't have a landline phone?

I think six is the max, heard of them checking for the ird location.

Not wise without the phone line connected to the receivers the max number of boxes in an account without the phone line would be three and offcourse never order PPVS sub to AT180 with HBO and Cinemax and enrolled to AutoPay.

I know of a lady that has five on one account. Not sure if her phone line is plugged in or not.
