I have a quad-mode JTAG and a 2700.
I have used the JTAG to extract box keys and back up my TSOP, but have never used it to erase a sector (I'm switching from BEV to Dish tomorrow).
Do I have to switch the shunt from 'read' mode to 'write mode' for erasing a sector?
And in JKEYS, the little warning comes up about 'grounding pad one' or 'unplugging IRD then plugging it back in and hitting OK within 2 seconds'. Do I have to heed this warning with my Quad-JTAG and 2700?
