Hey has anyone ever herd or running your satellite through your computer? My friend told me that his uncel does it so i was just wondering if anyone has herd of this and or anyone knows how to set this up thanks guys ....

Yes, I've heard of it and wanted to do that. However, I didn't want another satellite cable running through many of my rooms just to get to the computer.

To make this work you need a software (forgot what it's called but there is a free one out there) and a DVB card.

There's two ways of using a PC for DISH. One is emulation(emu). EMU uses program running on PC in place of an access card. There's an emulation forum here
The 2nd way is using a DVB TV tuner to run the feed through. It can be used with a legit sub as well.

ive seen this done and its a neat little setup, however with the nagra2 knocking on the backdoor why bother spending unnessasary money.the guy i know that uses it has been up for over 2yrs without any problems. he was running bev system, but now i do know whats in store.

i got dvb board 10 20 and 1022 i also use my iso programmer connected to dvb and am currently playing with the 102 if anybody is intrested i got all the files if anyone needs them

Hi, I have a 1022 card also, I am using MyTheater software. But currently, I am unable to watch tv. If you have any software that can help me to watch tv, I am really appreciated. I thank you in advance :)

did you update your md plugins in the plugins folder also some 1022s have problems with the sat signal do you have good signal i use ritz dvb also look at your graphs if your comp cant initialize direct show change your graph i use nero dvd its better i also have the 3 rom 120 bins from urope for premiere im playing with them now ill post some files here for you tryed to post files but it wont let me ill try later
