So you've heard the rumours? Well what do you think? There are many rumours circulating around the internet saying that DirecTV will be sending down a new USW update onto all HU cards. This rumour was triggered after there was suspiciously no new hashing whatsoever the past Friday. We are not sure whether USW 009 is coming down or not. This would not be a good thing, because software like ExtremeHU and such would no longer function with current HU cards.

Don't know what DAVE is gonna do, OP...as always, rumors abound...but CO is not joking...a USW 0900 right now would definitely not be cool...you'd have to let your card update in the stream, as I know of no 0900 update hex and Extreme won't support it, and Extreme isn't being supported, either, at least not by the author.
A forced USW update VIA a hex would also play hell with these activation scripts. Oh, someone will come up with a fix if this happens, they always do....but it still wouldn't be very nice of DTV :cry:
