I had the same problem with a 430. Just keep trying different numbers when editing the eeprom. Took me about 3 trys before i got it to work. Hope this helps you.

editing the eeprom is done only if the sound is completely gone, pixelization is not cured by eeprom editing. Do you have a good signal strength??

skinerd is right. pixels coming up on your screen is caused from the loss of signal strength....that beautiful sound it makes when it starts to rain...gotta love it
