I want to upgrade to the Superdish
Currently have the Dish 500 100/119 and a dish for 61.5
Using an all open rom 10 that catches whatever still available on Dish
My question, when I get the superdish should I take down the 100/119 dish? still quiet a few channels up and the music channels.
House and roof are high and inclined and I would not get into the roof to take down dishes.
TIA

I would not waste my time or money unless you are going to sub.
The pirate days are over.

I am going to sub a few channels w/the new superdish and just wanted an opinion if I should take the dish500 down, maybe down the line if something came up on N2 I could test because I have a receiver w/locks and emu in it.
But as you say testing is dead and with that in mind I just might take all the dishes down. I even have a dish 500 for Bev which since it is dead I might take it down too.
Thanks

Since it does not involve spending any money that you were not going to spend anyway why not just do that and leave the other dishes up just in case there is a N2 hack you can test with some day, you never know.
It is a good excuse not to do all that work taking them down, it won't hurt anything to leave them there and there is always someone claiming to have a N2 hack and someday somebody might and you will be ready.

That's what I was thinking. I just might take the 61.5 dish down since most of international programing has gone to 121 anyway and that dish is useless.

You could just turn it to another sat and leave it there.
Maybe the hi-def sat.
If you take them down then you have to get rid of them or find a place to store them.
And the wife won't want them laying around in her way, she will want you to junk them.
Out of sight (on the roof) out of mind. And she would probaby like the idea of hi-def, (the dish pointed at that sat is a teaser, you may get some milage out of it.) hehehe

The garage already has a few dishes in there what's one or two more :-))). Anyway I'll certainly think about what to do w/all those dishes when the time comes for the superdish. I'm even thinking of putting the superdish this time on the garage roof but then it would be a long way around the house w/wire to my office.
