The Dreambox is far from a scam. It is one of the premiere FTA receivers on the market. I own 3 of them.

That said, it does not decrypt Nagra2 at the moment. Nothing does.

So if you want a great FTA unit for the remainder of the Nagra1 stream, the dreambox would be a great choice.

Again, nothing at this time decrypts Nagra2 and anyone that tells you otherwise right now is trying to rip you off.

Some of the dealers are saying it can get N2 signals, this is not the first post on the subject.

While dreambox may not be a scam the places I went to were charging way too much for it.

As is Dish and bev for thier PVR/DVR's whatever u want to call them.. Dreambox is much much more than an overpriced FTA unit.

Out of the past 5 years, i haven't had as much enjoyment in this hobby since I purchased my dm7000 a year and a half ago. There is so many things you do with them, the fun doesn't stop.

If you are a "free tv'r" just looking for "free tv", then the dreambox isn't for you..
