Trying to work on this rom10, started out the backdoor was locked, I now have that open, is this the current rev I need to now write to the card, or do I need to do something else with it such as write a clean image to it?? Opening of COM1 was successful

how did you open the backdoor?

This is a friends card and I had no idea what was going on with it, after trying to read the card a couple of times I went through the download section and seen where one type of blocker uses all 4's for the password, and it worked....

1st I would read the card in NagraEdit and get his IRD# and Boxkey. Then I would save his old image. Then complete clean it and write a new ep10 file to it. You can find all you need here or in the downloads.

yes exactally what littlelarryjr said. read in nagraedit. write the camid boxkeys etc down. backup the image and do a one step clean. then program. ifyou attempt to program it how it is i have read that you can corrupt the card or loop it.

As mentioned if you can read it get the box keys and ird#. Normanally you can just write a script to it,if not clean it and write a virgin bin to it then program it with whatever script you use. Just to mention they changed the PPVs lately and if the script is not up to date you will have to patch a PPV tier to it-they are out there.
