getting error 20 i know this usually means {or always} that you have the wrong ird #. my question is , is the ird # the same as your cam id?

p.s. i am getting a good read and write to the card 100%....rom 10 rev 23 backdooor opens fine read card, write to card is fine....but that darn error 20....

if you saved the image from the card, you can load the image file into Nagraedit and get the boxkeys from there. I think you need to click on the editor tab or something like that. Also the Boxkey will be in Hex, so you will need to convert it to dec.

No your cam is different.

If you cant get the IRD number from your image file, you will have to jtag your IRD

got the right ird # {it was up and running 2 weeks ago} but i have not used this reciver since. i was giving it to a friend and i trying to reprogram it with the updated keys. the backdoor opened fine , read the card , put in the SAME ird # as when it was worrking for me , new keys, wrote 100% , tested for backdoor, fine. just when i put it in the reciever , that darn error 20 keeps coming up, but i am 99% sure that the ird # is correct, could there be another problem?

Error 020 is an IRD # error.

1 of 2 things is wrong.

1 - Card and Reciever IRD# do not match
2 - Corrupt Tsop

Case #1 is easy read reciever# and program card with exact number
Case #2 Load a good Tsop onto your IRD and use that number. You can use flash edit to change the IRD# in the tsop before loading it to the reciever.
