Me again. Have modded 3 receivers with single chip and this is my first dual chip which I am having problems with. It's a 420 and everything went smoothly but picture is freeze framing on me with, of course, no sound. I have tried to reflash several times with nozkt 5 with same result. I installed the original flash and picture and sound is fine. Any suggestions skinerd? Using jKeys201 as well. The chip is sharp 2meg.

If you read the bottom the the backup eeprom page at unwink.com it tells you about this problem and it also tells you how to fix it. You have to edit the first byte of the eeprom. It gives you some values to try. Takes about 2 seconds to fix. It could take you a couple of tries with different numbers.

I appreciate yalls help. I'm at work right now so I can't try these suggestions 'til I get home.

One other thing I am trying to figure out is are dishes compatible with different receivers i.e. Hughes dish w/ RCA receiver? I was trying to set-up satellite at the deer lease this weekend and I kept getting "searching for signal". My receiver showed 94 peak and my guide only showed 3 channels that were black screens. I guess I might have been aiming at the wrong satellite because I was just "wingin' it" but I couldn't find another signal. I know it isn't the receiver or the card because I brought it home and it worked fine.
