Please Explain this to me

Guys hi I would if you can explain me the following issue since must of you live in the USA.

On some websites from south of the border are selling Dave and Charlie receivers activated with 4 months of programming of the complete package as well the sunday ticket only on Dave. the price for these receivers are 1750 pesos or the equivalent of 160 usd as far as I know Dave sub isnt that cheap I mean only the complete package runs about 89.99 usd per month so do the math ? So I am guessing that these receivers are on an account of several receivers and the are only paying the additional receiver fee but how come DAVE or CHARLIE allow this since they request the phone line connected to the receivers at all times and offcourse on this type of accounts where they have at least 5 receivers per account.

These receivers arent some kind of spoof or something like that since I´ve seen them worked.

PS Yesterday I subbed to CHARLIE and the guy on 124 is an asshole they ask me a lot......................................... eventhough the receiver was brand new

A straight dollar to peso conversion may not be indicitive of the actual relative price.

You are comparing a country where a poverty level income (US) would let you live like a king in the other. (Mexico)

Why do you think ther are so many illegal Mexicans every year.
They come here work at below minimum wage jobs and send home enough money to support 5 or 10 people down there with what the have left over after expenses.

Illegal immigration is completly different to this issue I know that the mexican peso is below almost 11 times to the us dollar 1 usd - 11 pesos remember that there are no stores or retailers in Mexico so these receivers are subbed with an USA address.

DTV is also in cental america.

I am sure they are selling central america DTV not US DTV if they are selling single subs and not clones. (which I believ are impossible)

Sorry I misread your first post.
Shared sub, done all the time.
Aside from his ongoing attempts (that charlie is starting) to get rid of multiple address IRD's there is not much he can do since with a US address it looks fine to the company.
He would need more information that he would get to cut them off except with the random checks of non phone subs.

Why cut them off? He would lose money that he wouldn't get otherwise.

It is not a permanant cut off.

If the N2 card is out of the stream for any legnth of time it misses it's "bed check" or update if you will and has to be re-activated by the company.

It is part of the new N2 security proceures to stop those nasty TV pirates.

What they would really like to do is make you leave the IRD on all the time and hooked up to a phone line all the time. But they can't do that. That would cost them money.

You just call them up and they will re-activate it for you, not a big problem.
