I have a 3900-like reciever, it was marketed by another company but it looks and the jtag reads it as it would a 3900
What is the current procedure for removing the password?
I tried the old remote procedure and no luck,
Please overlook the dumb question, I haven't had a lot of spare time to keep up with the happenings,
Thanks all

Take yourbackup EPROM if you have one.
(-Tag the IRD and copy it if you dont)
Use flashedit2a you just load the EPROM and save it.
That's all flashedit does with EPROM's makes them virgins.
Then erase the old one with J-keys and write the new one in to the IRD.
There have been so many changes to accomadate N2 that things have been moved around.
If that does not work you might try a ECM fix, erase SA 30
