Hi I am a long time lurker here. I am wondering if there are any difinitive answers on hacking sirius and xm? I have searched the net a while and not found any good sites devoted to this stuff.

I am primarily interested in Sirius. Anybody know of any good sites or info?

I am pretty sure Siruis can't but XM can...For XM you remove the tsop from the radio solder it into a 2700 receiver flash it with the flash needed remove from the 2700 and resolder back into the XM radio..Seems like an awful lot of work for Sat Radio..I have the Sirius myself 7 of us are on 1 sub it cost us about $5 a month each so that is pretty cheap for Sat Radio.... :)

I hear ya ,its not alot of money. I subscribe to charlie, but I still play with the hardware.
Its not about the money.
Stern is moving over to sirius, testing is dying ,its time for something else..... :)

Just add it as a second radio you are allowed more than 1 radio per sub ...

I have also been searcing for Sat Radio hacking info.

Good luck. LOL

I have been searching fr schematis for any XM model. I have found ziltch.

There's a ton of info on the Sony "clone hack" for XM. That's about all I found. XMFan dot com is a pretty good XM forum. However, no hacking info or talk is allowed.

At this point in time (I just saw a card nag on the sirius stations on Chuck)
I'd settle for a purloined username and password so I can listen online until I can get a sub or something else going.
