i have switched my bev to dish. my question is, i am only getting 110. i have another LNB and a "Y "for the end of my dish. is the "Y "wide enough to get both signals( 110 and 119) or am i wasting my time trying. if this is possible, what would be a good signal with both . i don't think i will get 100% on both

thanks for the help

They do not have to be far apart, people have taped 2 LNB's togeather or used car radiator hose clamps on them. it is a matter of direction they point, try it, can't hurt anything, you may have to wiggle them around a little.

Use a SW21 to hook the wires togeather.

If you only have one LNB on 110, you have no switch, you will have to buy one.
Switches are only used to hook a IRD up to 2 LNB's.

I'm trying to switch my bev 2700 to dish, I'm now pointing to sat 119, and I'm geting a good (90%) signal, but my 2700 will not lock on this signal. I then tryed Jkeys to read my boxkeys and system info, this worked good. but when I hit the flashtool button, Jkeys gave me an ERROR that it could not read the file format from my 2700. Whats the problem ?

2700's do not always convert just to 2800 just by using the ECM erase sector.

You may have to find a 2800 (dish) flash for it and erase the whole Bev flash and put the new one in.

public downloads/echostar TSOP bank/ 2800 (dish) flash EPROM too make it a virgin, don't forget to use flashedit to put your IRD #'s on it and do a ECM & CRC check while you are in there, not all uploaded flashes are clean.

just did the same thing to my setup I reaimed a sat to the 110 . just get a good signal showing on the 119 than switch to the 110 and get a good signal on it than put your sw21 switch in and get it to reconize the switch do a check switch ,that will turn it into a dish 500 if all is good with the switch test give it a chance to update the guide .
